The Association for Good Government (AGG)

was formed many years ago to “encourage and support” good government in Waco and McLennan County.

The AGG concentrates efforts on non-partisan, non-paying local elections for Waco City Council, Waco Independent School District, and McLennan Community College.

Thanks to your steadfast backing, every candidate endorsed by the Association for Good Government (AGG) was elected in May 2025

With the May 2025 elections successfully concluded, AGG is proud to stand beside the leaders you chose—individuals whose proven record of collaboration and service made them worthy of our endorsement. Your AGG membership dollars fuel this process: identifying candidates who demonstrate real leadership, vetting their platforms, and keeping the community informed before, during, and after Election Day.

Let’s honor our candidates’ accomplishments and equip them with the resources they need to keep serving effectively.

Now these newly elected officials are shifting from campaigning to serving—hosting community forums, remaining accessible to constituents, and crafting evidence‑based solutions to local challenges.
